This will be a big weekend for avid bird watchers and casual nature lovers alike.
The 46th annual Waterfowl Weekend at Presqu’ile Provincial Park will be held this weekend.
Visitors can see up to 25 different kinds of waterfowl in Presqu’ile Bay, including swans, geese, and ducks of various kinds.
The birds, numbering in the thousands, are resting and feeding on their migration route.
Viewing stations with telescopes will be set up in the park and experts will be on hand to answer questions.
Waterfowl Weekend will run between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
