The Member of Provincial Parliament for Hastings-Lennox and Addington stopped by The Lorne Brooker Show Wednesday.
A number of issues were on the table including homelessness, affordability, housing, and health care.
Ric Bresee says getting doctors is more critical than the paper work.
“The Minister (of Health) made a mandate such that anyone who is currently licensed in Canada can come to Ontario automatically and start functioning as a physician and only then do they have to go through the registration process … “
A caller asked Bresee about the concerning forest fire summer ahead.
” I am the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Natural Resources and work around the world. We (our fire rangers) are internationally recognized as one of the best fire services, increasing our investments in the planes that drop water and other foams etc. We continue to work to improve that system.”
