Belleville police responded to 77 calls for service over the period from 5 a.m. on March 11, 2024 to 5 a.m. on March 12, 2024.
Family dispute quelled
Police were called to intervene in a heated family dispute late Monday evening. Officers arrived at the east end home shortly before 10 p.m. for a report of a verbal exchange between a couple that appeared to be getting out of control. Following a conversation with officers, both parties agreed to settle for the evening, and one agreed to leave to allow the situation to cool off. No charges were laid and there were no reports or allegations of violence.
Stumbling male taken to BGH
A male who was observed by several motorists stumbling in and out of traffic with no pants on was taken to Belleville hospital, Monday evening. Around 10 p.m., police and emergency services were dispatched to the area of Pinnacle Street near the downtown for reports of the male’s activities. Officers arrived to find the 34-year-old male unconscious. Paramedics arrived soon after and escorted the male to hospital for medical treatment.
