There have been no reports of injuries from a fire Friday morning at an apartment building in Belleville.
Belleville Fire responded to a fire on the ninth floor of a building at the corner of Ann and Bridge streets late this morning.
The fire was knocked down quickly with most tenants being protected in place inside the building.
Belleville police were on scene as well as Hastings Quinte Paramedics as a precaution.
A city bus was requested for those who evacuated.
The fire will be investigated by Belleville fire prevention.
