The City of Belleville has released its annual list of employees earning $100,000 a year or more.
For 2023 Belleville had 199 people on the so-called Sunshine List, up from 177 in 2022.
Employees on the list include those with the city, the library, and the fire and police departments.
Topping the list last year was city CAO Rod Bovay who earned $249,818. In second place was fire department Platoon Chief Mike Bustos at $243,502 and the third-highest paid was Police Chief Mike Callaghan at $211,525.
