As people move through the salary grids that are common in local government, the number of City of Quinte West employees earning $100,000 a year or more has grown.
Last year, 55 people made the Sunshine List, up from 46 in 2022.
Topping the list was Quinte West’s CAO David Clazie who earned $205,455.
Three peope were tied for second on the earnings list: Director of Planning Brian Jardine, Director of Public Works Chris Angelo, and Fire Chief John Whalen.
All earned $166,955 in 2023.
Seventeen of the 55 employees on the list were with the fire department.
