A 16-year-old member of the Belleville Beast Swim Team was golden, time and again, at the Winter Ontario Swimming Championships at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre over the weekend.
Francis Brennan earned gold medals in the 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle events as well as the 100 and 200 metre backstroke and 200 metre individual medley (IM). Six in all.

Brennan is a grade 11 student at Bayside Secondary School.
His 200m backstroke and 200m IM both rank first in Canada for males 16 and under.
Brennan regularly trains at the Pan Am Sports Centre in Toronto and recently trained in Delaware and Florida.
