It’s a record-setting day in the Quinte region.
A new high temperature record was set late this morning when readings taken at CFB Trenton showed the the mercury had already climbed past the previous record of 12.8 degrees Celsius set in 1974.
As of 5 p.m. this afternoon, the temperature had hit 16.9 degrees.
