A Campbellcroft couple is $100,000 richer thanks to a lottery win.
Margret Beatty and John Beatty won playing Instant Gold Pursuit.
The couple, married for 40 years, plan to pay some bills and do some work around their home.
They say have been playing the lottery for decades, since the Wintario days.
“I checked the ticket at least 100 times a day,” Margret laughed. “I had to catch my breath.”
She played the ticket and checked it on the OLG app when she discovered their big win. “I gasped and said, ‘Wow, really!’ I showed John and he said, ‘Woohoo!'”
The winning ticket was purchased at Giant Tiger on Peter Street in Port Hope.
