The Trenton Golden Hawks demolished the Pickering Panthers 7-1 on Friday night.
Taeo Artichuk, Adam O’Marra, David Fournier, Kyloe Ellis, and Ben Pickell scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks came out swinging with three goals in the first period, before a single goal by the Panthers late in the frame. Then in the second, the Golden Hawks took three more, with a final one in the third extending their lead, while the Panthers couldn’t get any more points on the board.
During the game, Team Captain Adam O’Marra broke the franchise record for most points in a season, with a total of 93. This also makes him third in the league for season points.
The Golden Hawks host the Burlington Cougars on Saturday, at 7 p.m.
