Tillsonburg Custom Foods, with a location known as Quinte Custom Foods in Trenton, has created 78 new jobs at its Trenton and St. Mary’s facilities.
The family-owned food processing company is making a $35 million investment that will add new equipment and increase production.
The provincial government is providing $5 million support through its Regional Development Program.
TCF President Ed Lamers says the company is proud to continue to invest locally and expand its operations to provide jobs to the local community.
Bay of Quinte MPP Todd Smith says Quinte Custom Foods is bringing new life to a landmark Quinte West facility and providing significant economic benefit to the area.
Quinte Custom Foods, which includes Rachel’s Tarts, operates out of the former Nestle plant.
