A fire that started in the kitchen caused $200,000 damage in Trenton Friday morning.
Fire fighters from Quinte West Station 1 responded to a brick home on Dixon Drive around 9:45 a.m.
The fire originated on the stove.
Fire Chief John Whelan says the flames were quickly knocked down but damage was extensive.
There were no injuries but one woman was checked over at the scene by paramedics.
Enbridge and Hyrdro One also attended the scene and a portion of Dixon Drive was closed for about an hour.
