Quick response by Belleville firefighters on Wednesday afternoon contained a fire to a basement bedroom.
Fire crews responded to a house fire on Foster Ave around 2 p.m.
All occupants had evacuated before firefighters arrived.
There were no injuries.
Belleville fire prevention is investigating the cause.
