It was a historic weekend for the Loyalist Lancers Women’s Volleyball Team.
They won an OCAA medal for the first time in the program’s history.
The Lancers bounced back after a semi-final loss to Humber to defeat the Durham Lords for bronze.
Loyalist lost the first set 25-20, but followed it up with 25-18, 25-22, and 25-19 set wins.
Sierra Scott was awarded player of the game and Erika Robertson was named to the tournament all-star team.
Allyson Terwillegar was named a 23-24 OCAA East Player of the Year and All-Canadian.
