It may not have been the coldest night of the year but it definitely was cold Saturday night.
But that didn’t stop over 300 people from attending the third annual Coldest Night of the Year Walk in Belleville.
The walkers, individuals and teams, raised over $67,000 for Grace Inn Homeless Shelter.
Meanwhile, the North Front Street Belleville Starbucks team raised over $5,000 and the Starbucks head office has promised to match the local team’s total so over $73,000 will have been raised and Grace Inn spokesperson Jodie Jenkins is confident the $75,000 goal will be met.
Last year the Belleville Coldest Night of the Year Walk raised $66,000 for the shelter.
