Today Jim Battelle of Bancroft Ontario won the $2000 Early Bird Prize for the Belleville General Hospital Foundation Camp4Cancer Super Draw with ticket number 0841. Already 40% sold, the 2024 Camp4Cancer lottery returns with local partner Carl Cox RV. Those who purchased their Camp4Cancer tickets before February 19 were eligible for the first of three Early Bird Draws as well as the Grand Prize a brand new Salem Cruise Lite RV, valued at over $45,000.
When reached to tell him that he had won $2000, Jim said ‘Wow, you made my day! You never really think you’re going to win but it is for a great cause. And this will help me save for a trip to Japan to visit my son.”
