Greater Napanee council is close to setting its budget for 2024.
Earlier this week council approved a draft budget of $22 million featuring a 6.68 per cent tax increase.
According to the Napanee Beaver, the average taxpayer in Greater Napanee would pay an extra $85 a year in taxes.
The budget is expected to be officially passed at a council meeting in March.
