The Nicholson Catholic College Crusaders are the undisputed champions in Bay of Quinte High School Basketball.
Both the Senior and Junior Crusaders scored convincing victories over Eastside Secondary in Tuesday’s championship games.
Greg Papakirakis scored 27 points to lead the Senior Crusaders over the Ravens 96-40.
In the Junior final Max Lacroix hooped 27 to lead Nicholson past Eastside 60-45.
The 6’3″ Lacroix is expected to be highly scouted by universities and colleges.
Both teams travel to Peterborough Thursday for the Central Ontario High School championships where they will face Norwood in their first game.
