Quinte West Planning Committee has approved a rezoning request to turn a motel in Trenton into apartments.
The owner was seeking an Official Plan Amendment and a Zoning By-law Amendment to allow the conversion of what has been the Motel 6 at 10 Trenton Street into a residential apartment building consisting of 73 bachelor units.
Staff had recommended the request be approved.
