The Correctional Service of Canada has seized $24,000 worth of contraband and unauthorized items at Warkworth Institution.
Items seized from the Trent Hills medium security federal institution included an edged weapon, as well as cell phones and accessories.
The CSC says the February 18 seizure was the result of a suspected drone drop.
There is no word if any charges related to the seizure have been laid.
