There could be more action for sports-oriented residents soon in Sidney ward.
At its meeting Wednesday, Quinte West council will see a staff report recommending upgrades to
the deteriorating tennis courts at Tuckers Corners.
Staff is recommending $200,000 be set aside to build multi-surface pickleball, basketball, and tennis courts this year.
If approved, the public will be consulted to gauge the demand for such a facility.
Quinte West council meets at 4:30 Wednesday in council chambers.
