Belleville council has approved grants of $10,000 each to two new Nurse Practitioners now working at the Belleville Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic.
Cecilia Annie Brown and Margaret Lynch will receive the money through the city’s recruitment program.
Each had to commit to working in Belleville for at least two years.
Meanwhile, council also approved extending scholarship funding of up to $10,000 for Loyalist College nursing students who apply and have graduated and worked for at least six months in the city.
