The OPP have provided an update on the death of a woman from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
Michelle Kunkel was last seen January 9, 2024 in the area of Highway 2 and York Road in Shannonville.
Divers with the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit located the body of the 38-year-old at Salmon River, at the mouth of the Bay of Quinte.
The investigation continues, however, no foul play is suspected.
The OPP and Tyendinaga Police are thanking those who assisted in the investigation and now request privacy for the family.
No further information will be released.
