A public information session is being held on a proposed zoning change to allow a new event venue in Ameliasburgh.
The property, at 3038 County Road 3, is bordered by homes on the north and west with open fields to the south and east.
The change would permit the conversion of a barn on the property to an event venue. The barn is already built. A house, two sheds, a separate tractor barn, and a vacant riding arena are also present on the property.
No new buildings are being proposed for the property.
There are two entrances to the property, with the entrance on the west side proposed to be used for the event venue.
The information session for surrounding residents is set for March 6 at Ameliasburgh Town Hall.
