Vehicle strikes Traffic Pole
On February 8, 2024 vat 10:28 p.m., Belleville police received a call regarding a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Coleman St. and Dundas St. W. Officers arrived on scene and observed a minivan that had struck a traffic pole in the median. The intersection lights were without power for a short period of time until city staff repaired the problem. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The 34-year-old driver was not injured in the collision. As a result of the investigation, the driver was charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
