A stolen vehicle investigation in Northumberland County on Tuesday involved the Canine Unit and Emergency Response Team.
Officers on patrol in the afternoon on County Road 2 in Alnwick-Haldimand Township received an Automated Licence Plate Recognition notification regarding a stolen vehicle.
Police tracked the vehicle and found it unoccupied at a property on Hilltop Road though an individual was observed fleeing from the scene.
The accused was observed getting into a nearby pickup truck which was stopped by police.
All occupants were arrested.
Jordon Cole, 24 years old from Toronto, is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and failure to comply with a release order.
Twenty-seven-year-old Austin Bennet of Brighton is charged with omit to assist a peace officer and 72-year-old Ken Kargus of Colboorne faces a a charge of obstructing a peace officer.
