The Correctional Service of Canada says there’s been seizures of contraband and unauthorized items at Collins Bay and Joyceville Institutions.
Between February 1-4, contraband and unauthorized items were seized at Collins Bay Institution, a multi-level security federal institution.
The items seized included tobacco, cannabis, drug paraphernalia and cell phone accessories.
The total estimated institutional value of these seizures is approximately $157,700. activities
Approximately $52,300 worth of items were seized Sunday at Joyceville, also a multi-level security federal institution.
Among the items seized were tobacco, cannabis, Oxycontin, pills, a cell phone and accessories.
There is no word if any charges related to the seizures have been laid.
