A decision is expected to be made Monday on whether a major residential development might move ahead on land at the southeast corner of Bell Boulevard and Sidney Street in Belleville.
The Planning Advisory Committee will discuss a rezoning application and approval recommendation to council for a proposed seniors 55 + community involving a four-storey apartment building along with 89 townhouses.
The apartment building would feature 74 units and commercial businesses (health club, bar, restaurant) on the ground floor.
In total, the development would consist of 163 residential units.
Belleville’s Planning Advisory Committee meets at 5:30 at City Hall and the meetings can be seen on the BellevilleCityHall YouTube site.
