The Nicholson College Crusaders were not a very hospitable host … at least on the basketball court.
Nicholson blew out Sydenham High School 81-35 in the final to win the annual NCC Basketball Classic.
The tournament included all high school basketball teams in Belleville as well as teams from Trenton, Peterborough and Kingston.
Greg Papakirazis led the way with 23 points in the final and was named the tournament MVP.
In the Junior final Kingston Secondary School defeated Nicholson 65-43.
