An early morning accident on Hwy 401 has resulted in an arrest by police.
A vehicle failed to stop for OPP officers on the eastbound lanes of 401 just after 4 a.m. this morning. The vehicle was later found rolled over in a ditch at the off-ramp at Highway 62 in Belleville.
In a joint operation between Belleville police and the OPP, a suspect was located in Riverside Park and arrested. She had no injuries from the accident, and was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
The on-ramp was closed for two hours while the wreck was cleaned up, but has since reopened.
