Assault and fail to comply with Probation Order
On January 31, 2024 shortly before 6 p.m., Belleville police received a 911 call from a woman stating that her daughter had attacked her. Police responded to a residence in the city’s west end and spoke to the involved parties. Police learned that the 37-year-old daughter had physically assaulted her mother causing minor physical injuries. As a result of the investigation, police charged the daughter with assault and failing to comply with her probation order. She was released on an undertaking with a court date in March. The name of the accused is not being released in order to protect the identity of the victim.
