One person has been charged after damaging a cruiser in Prince Edward County.
OPP received a report Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. that a suspicious individual was approaching children on Picton’s Church Street.
Police arrived and the person appeared to be intoxicated.
He was arrested, and while being placed in the cruiser, the suspect struck the rear window of the vehicle, smashing it.
Twenty-five-year-old Andrew Smith of Prince Edward County has been charged with mischief and being intoxicated in a public place.
Smith has a February 28 court date.
