A stunt driving investigation from Saturday evening in Napanee has led to a slew of charges against three men from Quebec.
Around 6 p.m., L&A OPP stopped a Porsche Cayenne going approximately 150 km/h.
Cannabis was detected and while searching the vehicle, officers located a concealed knife, along with cannabis and five suspected stolen credit cards.
As a result of this investigation, OPP has charged Cunha-Anastacio BRUNO-ALEXANDRE, age 27, of Montreal, Quebec, with:
- Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
- Drive motor vehicle – preform stunt – excessive speed
- Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available
- Drive motor vehicle – no licence
As a result of this investigation, OPP has charged Niyonkuru SAMPUTU, age 28, of Montreal, Quebec, with:
- Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
- Possession of a credit card
- Possess – credit card data
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5000
- Identity theft – obtain or possess another persons identity information
The three appear in Napanee court March 5.
