Trenton native Dryden Riley has been named a “Star of the Week” in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.
The 16 year old Riley is a goaltender with the Timmins Rock.
He was in net for a pair of victories last week including a 34 save shutout against Iroquois Falls.
Riley was an 11th round draft pick of the Erie Otters last June.
He has a 14-2-1 record with 2.34 goals against average which is second lowest in the NOJHL.
Riley played for the Quinte West Hawks Under 15’s two years ago. Last season he played for the Greater Kingston Gaels Under 16 “AAA” team.
