Lennox and Addington OPP are investigating after a car and a freight train crashed.
Police, fire and ambulance were called to the scene just before 8 p.m. on Friday after a dark-coloured vehicle and the train collided on Ninth Concession Road in Stone Mills Township.
The driver had already fled before emergency services arrived. Police searched the area with canine units but were unable to locate the driver of the vehicle.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Police believe this car to be the same one involved in an incident earlier in the day, where a dark-coloured car was driving the wrong way on Highway 401 with no headlights on near Kingston. Police were unable to locate the driver or vehicle during the incident.
Police are asking anyone with security or dash camera footage to contact them.
