For the second year in a row the Nicholson Catholic College Crusaders have completed a perfect regular season in Bay of Quinte High School Senior Basketball.
Nicholson cruised past the St. Theresa Titans 84-31 Thursday night.
Greg Papakiriaziz scored 32 in the win. Josh Dover added 22 and point gaurd Jacob Nobel had 20.
After an undefeated regular season a year ago, Nicholson lost to Bayside in the Bay of Quinte final.
Associate coach Tim Coates says, “Last year we were undefeated and we lost in the finals to Bayside, so we are undefeated again this year … we just hope we can move through the playoffs and win it, that’s what we are hoping. It will be fun.”
