High winds and snow squalls have led to power outages in the Quinte region, however, many affected areas are back up and running.
A major outage took place overnight in downtown Belleville, after a downed power line on Dundas Street plunged the area between Front and Church streets into darkness.
In total, 2122 Elexicon customers were out of power from roughly 9 p.m. on Saturday night to 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, in Prince Edward County, multiple power failures left over 7500 homes and businesses in the dark on Saturday, but Hydro One crews have restored most of those customers to service with small outages still being worked on in Demorestville, Bloomfield, and Salmon Point.
There are currently no estimates on how long the remaining outages will take to fix.
