Quinte West council has a light agenda for Wednesday’s meeting, however, there is one important issue to be dealt with.
Council will be asked to decide on disciplinary measures against Mayor Jim Harrison after he admitted to and was found guilty of hurling profanities at Councillor Duncan Armstrong after a council meeting in February.
Quinte West’s Integrity Commissioner Tony Fleming will present his report to council and has recommended Harrison make a public apology and lose two weeks pay.
However, council has the final say on whether or not to discipline the mayor. Quinte West council meets at 4:30 this afternoon and is live streamed on the City of Quinte West Council YouTube channel.
