Belleville police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal stabbing outside a North Front Street establishment.
Twenty-four-year-old Hayden Moreton was arrested at his residence in Peterborough without incident on Tuesday.
Members of the Belleville Police Service’s Criminal Investigations Division, with assistance from the Belleville Police Emergency Response Unit, K9 and Project Renewal members, made the arrest.
Moreton is charged with one count of second degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.
He was held for a bail hearing Wednesday.
Christian Williams, 23, died after he was stabbed outside the Go-Go Club at 320 North Front Street early on January 6.
A 30-year-old male was taken to hospital in Kingston with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
