A special weather statement has been issued by Environment Canada for Tuesday.
The statement warns of heavy snowfall mixed with rain, that could create hazardous travel conditions.
Between five and ten cm of snow is expected, along with 20-40 mm of rain.
The potentially hazardous conditions are expected to come in the late morning, after the morning commute, making people’s ride home potentially more dangerous.
Drivers are reminded to drive with caution during winter conditions.
