Belleville firefighters and police were kept busy dealing with nuisance fires Sunday.
At 3 o’clock in the morning there was a small fire at a bus stop on College Street East.
At 6:30 in the evening police and firefighters were called out to another bus stop on College Street East
where a male and female were cooking food over a fire. Firefighters had no concern over the setup.
And finally, shortly after 11 o’clock Sunday night, a man with a bike and trailer was found near a garbage can fire in a North Front Street parking lot.
The fire was put out safely.
