A Bancroft man is behind bars after a nearly month long OPP investigation.
Bancroft OPP have been investigating after a report on December 13 that a vehicle had been stolen. The investigation has resulted in the arrest of one person.
Tristan McColl, 22 years old, was arrested on charges including:
– Escape lawful custody;
– Dangerous operation;
– Flight from peace officer;
– Possession property obtained by crime over $5,000; and
– Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court.
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court in Belleville on January 8.
