Boarding the bus will be streamlined in Belleville.
Starting Saturday, the municipality will begin transitioning their bus fleet to a new farebox system.
One the installation period is complete, users will be able to scan the QR code on electronic passes, use reloadable pass cards, and pay with cash as they board the bus.
Officials say that payments will also be accepted by credit or debit cards.
