Two different charges have been laid following a domestic investigation in Northumberland County.
Saturday during the noon hour, officers responded to County Road 45 in Alnwick-Haldimand Township.
One person left a home in a car and was followed by the suspect in a different vehicle.
Police stopped both vehicles and a 41-year-old from Trenton was charged with dangerous operation.
The victim is alleged to have been involved in a domestic incident with the suspect last March.
The 41-year-old, who has not been named, is also charged with mischief under $5,000.
The accused appears in Cobourg court at a future date
