The provincial Festive RIDE campaign by Ontario Provincial Police has concluded with OPP laying 1,472 impaired driving charges against drivers.
Over the 47-day campaign, OPP stopped a total of 42,464 drivers during 11,421 RIDE initiatives.
Two hundred and twenty Warn Range Suspensions and 17 Zero Tolerance suspensions were also issued over the campaign.
The OPP Festive RIDE Campaign ran from November 16, 2023 to January 2, 2024.
