Health, housing and infrastructure will remain priorities for Prince Edward County in 2024.

Ferguson says County Road 49 will continue to be a work in progress in 2024.
A working group has been formed to determine how the municipality will cover its share of the cost to repair the crumbling road – approximately $31 million.
Ferguson says they will continue to press the provincial and federal governments to make sure they provide their share .
About 6,000 vehicles a day travel along County Road 49 which is the main eastern gateway to the County.
