A father and son are very lucky to have escaped serious injuries after a rollover on Highway 401 early Tuesday evening.
Quinte West OPP, Hastings Quinte Paramedic Services, and firefighters responded at 6:15 p.m. after a Toyota pickup truck, pulling another truck on a flatbed trailer, rolled off Hwy 401 east.
Although initial reports indicated two people were trapped, they had managed to get themselves out of their vehicle by the time emergency responders arrived.
They were not injured.
