Harrison says tens of thousands of people use Wooler Road (County Road 40) on a busy weekend and it will take millions to widen it.
2nd Dughill Road is also a road in need of work. He says talks will first focus on the south side of Highway 2 and then turn to the Canadian Pacific Kansas City underpass, which is narrow. The road has seen a large increase in housing construction, along with increased traffic.
Housing affordability, the Carrying Place Swing Bridge, and keeping an eye on fiscal restraint will also be important in 2024.
