Two people were arrested after police stopped a possible impaired driver on New Year’s Eve.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m., Lennox and Addington OPP stopped a vehicle on Amherst Drive by Golf Club Road.
The vehicle turned in to a residential complex and a male passenger fled on foot.
The female driver was arrested at the scene.
The male was apprehended a short time later.
Emily McComb, age 25, of Sydenham faces two counts of operation while impaired and failure to comply with undertaking.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jesse Barnes of Amherstview is charged with four counts of failure to comply with undertaking and resist peace officer.
