The Belleville Senators topped the Toronto Marlies 3-2, taking a four-game win streak into the new year.
Egor Sokolov, Cole Reinhardt, and Roby Jarventie scored for the Senators.
The Marlies took an early lead with two unanswered first period goals. After a scoreless second period for both teams, the Senators came back in the third, tying the game and forcing overtime, where a Sens goal brought home the win.
The Sens are back in action on Saturday, starting a two-game series with the Manitoba Moose.
